Welcome to the Windsor-Essex Chapter of the Ontario Wine Society.


Since 2011, we have hosted curated tastings showcasing wines of all types and styles alongside pairings created by local culinary talent. With wine representatives from across our region, our society aims to share and explore what makes Ontario wine great.

The Ontario Wine Society is a not-for-profit organization run by and for wine enthusiasts. We offer engaging and fun new ways to discover and appreciate wines from home and around the globe.

Membership is open to anyone 19 and over.

Each year, our society comes together to attend monthly events. Our hosts and presenters differ each month to offer a constantly evolving range of wines and pairings to enjoy.

Wineries featured most recently have included Adamo Estate Winery, Foreign Affair Winery, Huff Estates Winery, Meldville Wines, Muscedere Vineyards, North 42 Degrees Estate Winery, Pelee Island Winery, and Viewpointe Estate Winery.

Events can be held at a local host winery as well as local restaurants for our event venue. Thoughtful food pairings always accompany the evening’s wine tasting offerings regardless of where they are held. Some of our recent meeting sites have included Essex Golf & Country Club, Chapter Two Brewing Company, Maiden Lane Wine & Spirits, Nico’s Taverna, Thyme Kitchen, Vine + Ash, and The Windsor Club.
